On November 1, 2022, Taylor Swift announced her sixth concert tour, The Eras Tour. When the Verified Fan presale occurred on November 15, 2022, Ticketmaster was unprepared for the amount of fans attempting to secure tickets. Ticketmaster’s website actually crashed, not allowing any tickets to be purchased. Fans who were in the online queue waited for hours with the majority still not able to purchase tickets. 

However, despite these circumstances dedicated Swifties were able to come together to turn this negative experience into a positive one through fan projects, assisting each other in finding tickets, and providing support to each other.

“The Tour That Hits Different” short documentary will focus on real fans and their different perspectives on how they are dealing with securing tickets, what they are doing to voice their concerns about how tickets are made available for purchase, and how these fans came together through adversity.
