Hi, everyone my Name is Donovan Larkins and I am the creator of the In Too Deep documentary. I’m a senior mass media major here at Valdosta State University and I made this for the reason of we need more black voices to be heard on issues. Growing up in a small town in south Georgia made me understand how important it is to have black voices be out there and when I decided I would be a mass media major I thought I’d stick in sports and the thought of me ever doing something like this never came to my mind. I am so grateful for this opportunity that has come to me and that everyone who came along on this journey with me in the process of making this did.
