Post 15: Final Comprehensive Reflection

This documentary has been, from start to finish, the most challenging and rewarding project that I have ever worked on. At its core I think that the ideas behind this project sought to mesh some common styles and experiences in a novel way, and navigating those waters has been a real eye opening challenge. There were many unforeseen challenges with production that I had to overcome on my way to putting out the completed video, but the sleepless nights have proven to be well worth it. Going through the process to produce and release this documentary has also been very personally empowering, as I feel like I pushed myself to new limits during the process of bringing all of these pieces together. I feel as though I have also highlighted some new areas for potential growth in my work through this process, and I am excited to continue to push myself to grow as a film maker and an artist.
