Shooting on location was one of the biggest challenges of this project. In order to capture as much footage as possible, I decided to utilize multiple cameras. Most shots were done from a tripod, however there were several times that there was no time to set one up and the shot had to be taken handheld. 2 iPhone 13 Pros were also used on location for additional b-roll and behind the scenes shots. I also decided to utilize a GoPro to capture some experimental footage on location with hopes of incorporating it into the documentary, but this footage will likely not be seen in the final cut due to the experimental nature. The rest of the footage employs traditional film making techniques, with an emphasis on close ups and long shots to best display the subject matter.
