Family Business
Taylor and her family was tied into sports. This is how her passion for the sport began. I was able to see first hand how her love for the game was. Taylor never draws attention to the things she shouldn’t do, but the things she could. She wasn’t defined by her illness on the field, only her talent.
Her father, Thomas Macera, has been the only coach that she has been with. He made sure to push Taylor in the right direction. To remind her that as long as you continued to fight, he will always be successful. Taylor shared her journey as a VSU Blazer before and after the uniform.
This week was fun and I enjoyed seeing Taylors blast from the past in a blazer uniform. She shared her love as a blazer and where it all started. This week her Blazer story also got added to the timeline.
