ALMOST DONE
Finally Together
The moment that I have been waiting on. Finishing this piece of film. After making this footage I have been able to learn so much about her. I was able to use different angles. I was able to use different footage. I was able to use voiceovers to share my point of view. I was finally able to share to the world my film. This week I tackled the trailer and digital posters. The trailer was 1 min and 30 seconds. I didn’t want my trailer to tell all the story but to leave the audience intrigued enough to want to watch. This wasn’t a sob story, this was a story based off heroics. The fighter coming out of Taylor. That is also why I chose to had background music to the trailer.
Thankfully this is the last editing piece for the trailer. I know that the trailer did what it had to do. I also knew the poster had to be eye capturing. If I were to fully focus on the poster people would want to watch. When you go to the movie theater and see a cool movie poster, you do your research on what the movie is about. That is the tactic I used. You can see this is a documentary about a young vibrant girl. My poster did well describing this.
This weekend made me more excited for next. My two main things were done, and the directors cut was finished. Now next week is nothing but review and critic. It was to focus on my film and watch it through. With this week being my “get the word out” week. It made me more excited to get it out to everyone.
