Planning Process Reflection

My script breakdown consists of beginning with an opening on a PSA about motorcycles and the danger they present. This method shows a problem and a solution with introduction of team member involved in the creation of the vest. Illustrating the creation with lots of slo mo shots and deep creations is the best way to present this information I believe.

Scheduling wise I have sent out texts and am in the process of organizing our shooting days for interview and B Roll. On my end the best days are Friday or Saturday because I will be traveling to film so organizing the shooting days early is important.

Casting is simple because the people involved I the cast are the creators of the vest. This allows me to explore other ideas with my time instead of finding a full cast for a narrative film.

The crew is not expansive but will be helpful in improving the overall look and feel of the documentary. I will have one person with me to check shots and lighting so that will help with correct audio and lighting. While focusing on interviews he can film B roll with others and create shots that I might not have planned for.

I had time to research and think Adobe Illustrator will help me with the images and models of the electronics inside the vest to emphasizes each piece’s importance. I have seen and experimented with this technology and am working towards this solution.
