I know I’m late but here’s why…

I’m a procrastinator, it’s the only way I can function, and it works brilliantly for me. The planning of a week crammed into a day of post-production work. This week I was thinking about the trailer, what scenes to add, how to make it make sense, and fit it into 45 seconds to a minute. Of course I completed it and with my computer crashing for over an hour…it was worth it.

I love to watch edits on TikTok and Instagram, mainly fan edits because that’s a craft, I would genuinely want to master after I graduate. It’s so much more complex than what we learn in school and it has a much broader audience. As a person who loves chaos, why would I want to see a couple of “neat” transitions when I can see a billion cool ones of the shows I watch.

You can check out the trailer in next week’s journal, I think it looks pretty cool, short, sweet, and to the point. I felt that if I tried to tell the story it would spoil the end so what I did was show the character’s personalities…and that sealed it for me. Plus I was so exhausted from staring at my computer, I wanted to light it on fire. And to be completely honest, screens are the only purpose that I put on my glasses. I didn’t start wearing glasses until college and that’s when I decided on a major 🙂
