MegaCorp is trying to push me out. One of them came to my office today and placed a number on a piece of paper and then walked out. Do they seriously think they can buy me out. After everything I’ve put into this University.
Sure, I’ve made mistakes. I let ambition cloud my judgment. I put money first, power second, and everything else—including the students and values of this University—last. I see now I convinced myself to believe a lie.
Money has no true value if you sell your soul to earn it. I knew success came at a price but that price is too high. MegaCorp can’t throw money at me and make me disappear. I’ve seen things, I know there secrets and I’ll do whatever it takes to bring them down.
