Even more Production… – Week 12

This week I decided to focus on recording all of the B-roll for the film. This was where all of my production skills have paid off. I rented a camera from the cage and walked around campus to get some shots. A mistake I made was not having a set plan on the type of B-Roll I needed before I started shooting. I used this opportunity to capture establishing shots as well as refreshing my production skills.

After a while of shooting establishing shots for the video, I decided to walk around and find a student who was willing to be a subject for one of my B-roll shots. I am a pretty shy person so going up to someone to ask if they were wiling to be filmed was a little nerve wracking. Luckily, the first person I asked was more than welcomed to be a subject in the video.
