So far, fingers crossed, I have not had any significant errors happen on this production. I’ve had a few hardships, like trying to nail down all my interviews, but on the filming side it’s been mostly positive. I could have done a better job with the audio of Coach Helfer’s interview, as it picked up both the lav mic and the Rode mic, but I can fix that up a bit in Adobe Audition and make it better. A few of my B-roll shots were also a little out of focus, but a sharpener tool in Premiere could always fix it up, and worst-case scenario, I just don’t use those shots. I got enough other shots I can use, and I can also pull some old games from previous seasons if I really need it. Pictures are also an option, although I would prefer to not go there unless I absolutely have to.
Hopefully this streak continues. I’ll be getting my player interviews soon, and from there I’ll be going right into editing everything together. As the project continues, I hope to avoid any other errors that may crop up. Most important thing: save my work always.
