This week I primarily worked on assembling the footage onto the main timeline, placing the lower thirds on the screen, and starting to color-correct the interviews. When working to assemble the footage onto my main timeline, I like to pancake edit, which is layering timelines in Premiere so that you can see multiple timelines at once when working in the program. I was able to completely finish marking up each of the interviews and cut in between sections where I was asking a question or there was a silence while interviewing. After cutting and marking on each individual timeline for each interviewee, I was then able to pancake edit and drag soundbites into the main timeline for me to order and piece together the clips. I have also worked to add the introduction and outro on the timeline after exporting each from Adobe After Effects.
