Stephen Andrew is the head coach of the Valdosta State University women\u2019s soccer team. Coach Andrew has been coaching for VSU for 6 years and has lead the Lady Blazers to four-straight conference tournament appearances including a semifinal appearance in 2017. In fall 2021,\u00a0the Blazers finished the season with an 11-7-1 record and clinched berths into both the GSC and the NCAA postseason tournaments. VSU finished the year with 39 goals and had 117 shots on goal.\u00a0 The Blazers\u2019 berth in the NCAA postseason was the fourth overall in the history of the program and first since 2014.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Estee Widdershoven is a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Tennis team at Valdosta State University. During her collegiate career Estee transferred from D1 school ‘Long Beach State University’ to VSU where she made the GSC All-conference team 3x + All Decade team in the GSC. After finishing an MBA in May of 2022, Estee is currently pursuing a master\u2019s degree in Public Administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Samantha Richards<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Samantha Richards is a senior at Valdosta State University who is majoring in INDS. Samantha is currently going into her 5th year season as a pitcher for the Valdosta State’s softball team. During her 2022 season, Samantha was named GSC Pitcher of the year with being 1st in the GSC (5th nationally) in strikeouts with 310 and being the 1st in the GSC (6th nationally) in Pitching appearances with 43. She was also ranked 2nd in the nation and 1st in the GSC in complete games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
