This week was the beginning of the pre-stage of the project I choose to do. After some thinking I decided to do a podcast with a main focus on the sports world, this was very interesting especially with myself being a collegiate athlete at Valdosta State University.
My classmates Cynthia and Emily had a similar thought process to do as a project and we decided to join forces.
Emily, Cynthia and I have decided to work together in a group of 3 on this project.
We started to discuss ideas of what to set up for our podcast stories and capstone project.
We want to do a podcast, interviewing athletes and media “professionals”, and get more into the deeper parts of their lives and what brought them to the level that they are now.
The intended audience is everyone that is involved in sports, in any form possible. The main age group inside this audience would be between 15-45, as these are the most people that are in the beginning stages of their professional sports career or the appropriate age of parents of these children.
This podcast is a great way to show my skills that I have learned throughout this Mass Media program. Due to the fact that it requires audio, video, and editing skills.
