My name is Emily Tramell and I am a senior Mass Media major at Valdosta State University. I have been an avid sports fan for most of my life, starting at the age of 7 years old when my dad took me to my first NFL game. I have wanted to work in sports for as long as I can remember and would love to live the dream of working next to the athletes I have watched and grown up with.
Mission
For my capstone, I knew I wanted to base it around sports. I have learned valuable information about the world of sports while at VSU and throughout my life and I want to give people insight into a world they might not know too much about with help from experts in the field.
What is HotTakePod?
We will be focusing on a podcast that talks about sports in a wider sense. We will ask work professionals in the field of sports about their story and how they got to where they are today. We are also going to be interviewing athletes and sports professionals in media and broadcasting to get their takes on the world of sports and how they came to be in the profession of sports they chose.
