This past week my group and I got the opportunity to shoot our second interview with Valdosta State University’s softball pitcher Samantha Richards. We decided that for this interview Emily Tramell and I will be the host for this episode of our podcast. The day of our shoot Sam messaged our group to inform us that she needed her interview pushed back an hour due to an unexpected, required practice with her team. We agreed to meet an hour later and decided to set our equipment up and adjust cameras while we waited for Sam to arrive. Once Sam arrived, we got her to stand where she would be in the podcast and adjusted the camera to her height.
During the interview process, Emily and I introduced the podcast, ourselves, and our guest followed by Emily asking Sam our first question. We had a total of five question like our previous interview. We went through our questions and ended up asked new questions to ask Sam that we came up with during our conversation with her.
After we finished our interview with Sam, we collected all of our video and audio files and transferred them to our hard drive. After that we decided to schedule a time to go to one of the tennis matches and a softball games to get b-roll of Estee Widdershoven coaching a match and b-roll of Sam pitching during a softball game.
