This week the main goal for our group was to establish how we wanted to set up our podcast. This would include how many cameras we wanted set up, the host, and the interviewees. First, we did was discuss how many cameras we wanted to set up during our podcast. For a podcast, there are a couple of angles that are important to capture to make sure you get everything that happens during the set. The first angle we want to capture is a shot of the host. The second angle we want to capture is a shot of the interviewees. These camera shots will allow the viewers watch to feel as if they are a part of the conversation. Second, we discussed who we wanted to be the host for our podcast. We concluded that it would be best to have all three of our team members to be the host of our podcast. This would allow our viewers to know who the face of our podcast is and who is responsible for creating and putting the podcast together. Finally, we discussed who we wanted to get to interview in our podcast. We decided that we wanted to have all angles of sport media included in our podcast which would include one professional in the media field, a coach, and two athletes. This would allow us to have at least 3 or 4 episodes for the podcast.
Moving forward, our crew will be getting together to discuss some important details for the podcast. One thing we will start discussing is who our interviewees are going to be. We already know what professions we want to ask, it’s just a matter of who we can get and if they will be available to meet. Another important detail we will start discussing is the scheduling of when will meet to record and shoot the podcast. However, this will be determined on when our interviewees can meet around their busy schedule. Finally, the last thing we will discuss is the location of the podcast. We already have a place in mind we just need to scout the location to see if the location will work for our podcast.
