This week I continued to work with my co-director on getting all the pre-production documents ready as well as everything we need for the pitch. Thankfully we were able to finalize the cast and get everyone’s filming schedules. The process of making this short film has had some bumps in the road so far but we seem to be moving on the right track. My co-director and production assistant have been a great help in getting everything ready for production. We are almost done with the storyboard for pre-production.

Moving forward we are excited to be having our tale read next week. This will be my first time hosting a table read and I am excited to see the cast interact with each other. Some of the cast may have done a table read before and for some, this will be their first experience so we want to make it as fun as possible. We have already emailed the cast with the time, date, and location of where to meet. We will also be offering people the opportunity to take headshots if they don’t already have one for our websites. I am very excited to start production in a week.
